Letia Clouston

 

American Letia Clouston was born in Kentucky, United States and earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Theatre at Stephens College, Missouri, United States. She was trained in classic theatre at the British American Dramatic Academy at Oxford University, United Kingdom and then moved to Los Angeles, California. After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts in Directing at the American Film Institute,  Los Angeles, California, and finishing her award-winning thesis film, AB NEGATIVE, Letia went on to direct over 30 short films, including the educational short film, EVERY 15 MINUTES, which won three American ‘Telly Awards’ and was chosen by the Los Angeles Police Department as a teaching tool for high school students in Los Angeles, California.


Letia directed the Off-Broadway, New York, one-man show, THE 7TH & 11TH DIMENSIONS, which was awarded “Best One Man Show” at the United Solo Festival, New York, New York. She has directed seven feature films, each distributed internationally, including her thriller IN THE DARK, the family films, 3 TIMES A CHARM, A DOGWALKER’S CHRISTMAS TALE and ACCIDENTALLY ENGAGED; as well as, a new horror film, THE SIXTH FRIEND and the upcoming HAUNTED.

Her web series, BROKEN TOY, has a dedicated online viewership and her recent Batman action short, THE DEMON IN THE DARK has received significant online attention.
